Chapter 1: How I got an Alien for a roommate...

---

Aaron stumbled into his apartment, throwing his book bag on the ground before slumping on the couch. What a week! He was just glad that classes were over for the week, and he could spend the next two days just relaxing. He turned on the TV before searching through the channels, before coming on a rather familiar movie, Planet 51. Aaron remembered this movie from a couple years ago, where a human crash-lands on an alien planet that thinks he is an invader. It was an alright movie, sure, but in Aaron’s mind didn’t do anything special. He did like the concept of the role reversal in that regard, however.

“Man, how cool would it be if we actually encountered aliens,” Aaron chuckled, lying back as he watched the movie. However, he didn’t realize a burning orb fall out of the sky outside his window before he felt a shake underneath him as it crashed into the street nearby.

“Whoa!!” Aaron gasped, falling off the couch, which he slowly got up from, “Ugh… what the hell was that?” Aaron then looked out the window to see some sort of metal pod, like some kind of weird spaceship. He just continued to stare in awe at it as he saw the pod start to open up, and out stumbled a strange-looking humanoid creature of sorts, which was a ghost-like humanoid with feminine features that had a ghost-like tail instead of legs, which seemed to splat into a blob of… something when hitting the ground face-first. It had obviously been disoriented by the crash landing.

“Holy crap! Holy crap!” Aaron shouted as he ran outside to see what that thing was that just fell on the pavement, “An actual alien just landed in my front yard!!”

As he approached the alien, it seemed to slowly get up, returning to its original shape before shaking its head to reorient itself as it floated a few inches above the ground. It then spoke in some kind of alien language that Aaron couldn’t understand.

“Uh… hello? Do you come in peace?” Aaron asked slowly, doing hand gestures at the alien, who just looked at the young man confused. She (at least Aaron thought it was a she) reached out towards him, shooting some sort of energy beam from her finger. Aaron yelped as the beam hit him in the throat, as a ball of light seemed to flow from that point through the beam and into the alien, before dissipating.

“Ah, that should do it,” the alien stated, smiling, her voice sounding kinda echoey, like she had a second voice that sounded slightly like an android, “Anyways, hello, creature of this world. Do you know where I am?”

“Um… you are on Earth? Specifically, Seattle. Mind telling me why you just crashed into the street right outside my apartment?”

“Oh. I apologize. I have not driven a Chromian travel pod before.”

“Chromian? Is that what you are? Also, WHAT are you, anyways?!”

“Well, yes. I am a Chromian. To elaborate, I am a being of pure energy that comes from a planet known as Rillus. I was sent here to analyze the life here on Sol-3, what you call Earth.”

“O...kay? Well, that pod you came in is pretty trashed. You gonna be alright?”

“I think so. I will check my pod…” the alien replied, before floating over to her pod, not noticing that Aaron was in front of her and phasing right through him, making Aaron yelp in surprise.

“Wh-What the hell-?!?” Aaron gawked, feeling a surge of strange energy as the alien passed through him. He then began to shiver uncontrollably as she looked at the pod.

“Hmm… this will not do at all…” she murmured, looking at the pod’s parts, “The navigation systems are all broken, and the structural damage makes the pod unusable…”

“What the hell did you just do?!?” Aaron shouted, collapsing to the ground as he felt the strangest feeling… his arms, legs, and waist were starting to become more slender, shrinking in bulk as they lost hair.

“Hmm? I just passed through you. It is easy for me to pass through solid objects,” she stated.

“Ugh… my body feels weird,” Aaron groaned, as he looked down at his legs, which were starting to change color to a light purple color as they seemed to fuse together, “Wha- my legs!!”

“...Oh my. I did not mean to do that. I apologize…” the alien gasped, looking really concerned as Aaron could feel his whole body starting to become lighter, his skin changing to being of a similar composition to the alien’s, except being generally purple in color instead of the alien’s light blue. He could feel his face start to restructure, becoming more feminine and soft, while his chest exploded outward into a pair of rather large breasts. His hair grew longer and became more like floating blobs of gel, as well as his ears and nose disappearing, the latter being replaced by a weird white “strip” on his (at this point now a her, for all Aaron knew) forehead, allowing her to smell and hear from that point.

“Wh-Whoa… I feel woozy…” Aaron, overwhelmed by this transformation, stammered to say, before falling to the ground.

“Oh my!” the alien gasped, helping Aaron up to her feet… well, feet wouldn’t be the most accurate term here… “Are you alright?”

Aaron took a few seconds to look at herself and process the information before glaring at the alien, “Am I alright?! I’m now some sort of alien freak because of you!!! What the hell did you do to my body, anyways?!”

“W-Well… you just went through a process called Energizing… something that I can not exactly fully control right now… whenever a Chromian sends energy into a person, they start to turn that person into pure energy, turning them into a Chromian themselves. Most Chromians can keep their energy in their body when they do not want to energize someone, but I… have problems with it…”

“...you mean to say I’m stuck like this forever?!?”

“N-No! There is a way that I can turn you back, but it could be complicated. I have to absorb the energy from you back into me…”

“...Okay. Well, please do try it, because I don’t want to be stuck as an energy-based alien girl for the rest of my life.”

“Right… here we go,” the alien murmured, shooting a beam of energy into Aaron, which looked similar to when she did it the first time with Aaron’s voice but bigger, seeming to suck the energy out of Aaron. She then started to feel tired and calm, as her body slowly began to change back into human flesh. Her legs split back into normal, and she could feel her breasts sink back in and her manhood return.

“Yes. I’m turning back…” Aaron stated, smiling, as the last of him turned back to being human. However, he noticed that the alien was somewhat filling up with energy and just as she absorbed the last of it, she let out a small cry, which sent a small burst of energy back into Aaron, knocking him backwards.

“Oof!!” Aaron shouted before he fell back, feeling his body electrify with a tiny bit of energy.

“S-Sorry… I didn’t mean for that to happen…” the alien responded, her voice sounding a bit less like an emotionless being and a bit more human.

“Huh? Your voice sounds different…” Aaron noticed.

“...hmm, so it does. Weird,” the alien stated, giggling.

“Well, thank you very much for changing me back. I’m Aaron, by the way.”

“On my home planet, I am known as Xelingaestra,” the alien responded, smiling.

“Xelingae-? Uh… how about I call you Xelina? It’s like Selena, but with a Z sound.”

“Sure. Xelina it is!”

“Alright. So… I can’t just leave you here with a broken travel pod. Someone would freak out about this! You can stay at my place until you get your pod fixed,” Aaron offered.

“Sounds great! Thank you very much!” Xelina replied, giving a smile as she winked at Aaron.

“So… how do you suggest we get this pod out of the street?”

“Don’t worry, I can handle it,” Xelina responded, before pressing a button on the strange pod, causing it to shrink down to about the size of a tennis ball, before she put it inside of her wisp-like body.

“Well… that’s convenient,” Aaron admitted, scratching his head, “Now, c’mon, I’ll show you around the apartment.”

“Yay! Let’s go!” Xelina cheered, flying straight through Aaron again, who yelped but noticed he wasn’t turning into a Chromian this time. Weird.

“Hey!! Stop doing that!”

“Hehe… sorry,” Xelina responded, before she and Aaron went inside. As they did, however, Aaron didn’t seem to notice light purple sparks of electricity charging between his fingers. It appeared that the weird was yet to come...
So, yeah, it's been a while since I made a story here on DA! ...or anywhere, for that matter. XD

Hey, guys, what's up. Silver here, and hopefully this will be my grand re-emergence as a writer. I have been out of the writing mood for months now, but now I plan to end the streak by writing this new project! So, what is Xelina Landing about, you ask? Well, as you probably read, it is about the wild and crazy adventures of our human protagonist, Aaron Smith, and our female alien, Xelingaestra, or Xelina for short. I've had this idea in my mind for a while after seeing :iconchompompcharly:'s Chromian pictures. To be honest, I positively LOVE his art and love the look of the Chromians in general. So, I asked if I could write a story involving Chromians, and he said go ahead. Now, I will admit, the story isn't that good. I've been on a hiatus for a while (with some unsuccessful attempts to get me back into writing), so I'm a bit out of practice. I apologize to you, DeAndre, if this story is not good. I tried, I really tried... >.<

Anyways, there were a couple of things that I did take some liberties with regarding Chromians. For one, Xelina copying Aaron's vocal patterns to teach herself to speak English was my own idea. Regardless, I really hope that this gets me back into writing. I just need to think of more ideas for this story. Anyways, this is Silver signing off. ;D

Also, yes, the basis for this story was partially based off My Favorite Martian... if anyone even remembers that TV show/movie remake.
